The process of making these wood pieces starts out with rough sawn lumber, mill, fine sand, and then the wood is branded with the Nags Head Hammocks name. Each wooden piece has been hand dipped 4 times into a top-grade, weather resistant polyurethane marine grade varnish to give a rich look and enhance its durability. A hunter green Sunbrella canvas pillow is also included with this amazing rocker. The Sunbrella material resists against mildew and fading. The pillow is filled with a foam for quicker drying. Nags Head Hammocks was established in 1974 in a beach cottage in Nags Head on the barrier islands known as the outer banks.
